finghall imagesFinghall station is the latest to reopen on the line.  We are calling at the station on a trial basis at the request of a number of the local residents.  The station is located to the north of the village it serves.

The rural setting for the station makes it an ideal location from which to start or end a walk.

Station facilities

Tickets
At present Finghall Station is unstaffed.  To travel just board the train and purchase your ticket from our on-train staff.

Toilets
There are no public toilets at this station.

Parking
There is no parking at the station.  Passengers may be dropped off at the station entrance.

Things to do
Whilst Finghall will mainly be used by local people, it is a great place to start or end a walk.  In the village, there is a pub offering good quality food and drink.

Did you know?

Finghall station was used regularly in the TV series All Creatures Great and
Small.

Finghall is one of the best preserved stations on the line.  Look for the original ticket window in the waiting room
