Aysgarth Falls is well worth a visit. There is plenty of parking nearby at the Visitors Centre, and you will find a cafe serving home-made meals in the Visitors Centre itself.
There are three different waterfalls to visit.

Walking to Aysgarth Falls
It is an enjoyable walk from Redmire station to Aysgarth Falls, and if you do not feel like walking in both directions, you can use the Wensleydale Vintage Bus for all or part of the journey. The bus runs on Tuesdays, Saturdays, Sundays and bank holidays until Tuesday 28 October 2008.
On journeys from Redmire to Hawes, the vintage bus passes the Visitors Centre at Aysgarth Falls.
However, on the return journey, the vintage bus stays north of the River Ure, and the nearest point to board it is in Carperby, a short walk north of Aysgarth Falls. Alternatively it is a shorter walk to the main A684 from where you can catch a Dales & District service 156 to Leyburn. Click here for the Dales & District bus timetable.
